Emily Cruz is an avid coffee lover, a tenth-level high elf wizard in Dungeons & Dragons, a wife, and a mother located in the Pacific Northwest. She's a nonprofit professional by day, working for a local nonprofit supporting kiddos experiencing foster care, and a writer by night. She's currently working on a contemporary romance novel based in Paris, France, releasing in the Summer of 2023! She enjoys quality time with her favorite people, a good book, and thinking about what color to dye her hair next. In her first book, This Won't Define Me, she writes about the belief that a truly fruitful life is not out of reach for anyone, and while fear is an inevitable human experience – it doesn’t define us, and it doesn’t have to hold us back.
